2016 AAO CONVOCATION
The AAO’s 2016 Convocation will be dedicated to exploring the connections between patients’ psychological and physiological health.
Reflecting the first tenet of osteopathic medicine—the body is a unit; the person is a unit of body, mind and spirit—the Convocation’s lectures and breakout sessions will explore how lifestyle and life challenges affect patients’ overall health, explains Convocation Chair Millicent King Channell, DO, FAAO. Attendees will learn how to apply what they learn to diagnosing and treating patients with mental disease, chronic health conditions and somatic dysfuntions.
